In 2003 DJ began his electrical career working for Hilti Corporation in Atlanta, GA. He obtained a unique perspective on the jobsite selling directly to mechanical and electrical contractors. He has held numerous roles through his tenure including Account Manager, Product Specialist, and Sales Team Manager. After an illustrious career, DJ relocated to Raleigh, NC to take over the sales territory for Thomas & Betts while also getting closer to family. In this role, he learned to work with distribution while still generating demand through direct contractor and end-user interaction. His hard work, reputation in the market, and desire to learn more about the electrical industry landed him a role with Schneider selling Square D as their Residential Sales Engineer. DJ’s unique blend of sales roles and leadership experience was a perfect fit for the UES expansion into the Carolinas.
